Per Session Cookies
A Per-Session Cookie is a cookie that is not stored on your computer. The cookie is only valid for as long as your Internet Browser session is open.
We use it to remember such things as which school you logged in as, while you look at different pages.
As soon as you close your Internet Browser our Per-Session Cookie is removed.
To verify that your Internet Browser will accept our Per-Session Cookie, perform the test below.
Click on the 'Test Your Browser' button below. If the response number increments, your Internet Browser is accepting the ADA's Per-Session Cookie.
If the response number does not increment, your Internet Browser is not accepting the Per-Session Cookie.
The Response Number is: 1
There are many possibilities of why your Internet Browser is not accepting our cookie. Common solutions may be as simple as:
- Confirming that your Internet Browser is Enabled to accept cookies. (With IE 5.x, there are two cookie settings. One for 'Stored' cookies and one for 'Per-Session' cookies.)
- Restarting your computer
- Running an up to date virus scan
