Greetings and best wishes in the forthcoming Debating Season. To whet your appetites and as an informal prelude we hope you will all enter teams in the "Presidents Trophy" debates.
Impromptu Debating Cup
Presidents' Trophy - to be held at Mount Eden Normal Intermediate School
Time: 7.30pm
Date: THURSDAY 26 March
Entries: On the night
Fee: $1.00 per team - 50 cents per spectator
Moots: Given on the night
Teams: Comprise 2 debaters
Athenaeum and Robinson Cups
All entries to be into the Treasurer - Mr. Colin Garstang by 31 March please.
Affiliation fee of $5.00 incorporates fee into Athenaeum and Robinosn Cups. If not affiliated entrance fee of $3.00 is required for each team to accompany your entry.
Please be prompt and we hope to have the draw completed by mid-April.
Mrs. Nichola Ingram will be organising the Athenaeum Cup competitions and Mr. Dick Forbes the Robinson Cup.
Mrs G. Lowe will again be organising the Novices Cup competition this year. Further details will be published later.
